Here are the other items that I made for the Holiday Bazaar bake sale that the PTA held last weekend at my daughter’s school. There was only a little bit of the peppermint bark left after the sale was over! Everything else disappeared quickly!!

My daughter’s school is having their Holiday Bazaar in a few days and the PTA is also having a bake sale. Since the flag cupcakes went over pretty well, I decided that I am going to send a bunch of stuff. I found a recipe for yummy dark chocolate peanut butter bark with peanuts. It was super easy to make and very tasty!

My daughter’s school was off today and the PTA held a bake sale for the voters to grab something yummy after casting their vote! This is what I made for the sale! (I was told that they were a hit!)

I recently picked up the book “Deceptively Delicious” for a steal at The Christmas Tree Shop. I wasn’t sure about this recipe, but they turned out really great! The deceptive part?…CHICKPEAS! Yep, there is an entire can of chickpeas in these chocolate chip cookies! When we were making these, I was sure that they were going to be awful—they didn’t look promising. But, you cannot taste the chickpeas at all. My daughter loved them! Having tried one of the dessert recipes and finding success, I am very likely to try several other recipes from this book! I love being sneaky!
